Service Collection Schedule
Service Days and Hours
- Household Trash – Tuesday and Friday (Backdoor)
- Recycle – Friday only
- Service Hours – Please have waste ready by 7:00 a.m. Specific collection hours and routes may vary slightly from time to time, due to weather, etc.
Backdoor Service Collection Guidelines
Follow these and your applicable HOA guidelines to ensure that waste is collected safely and efficiently, to eliminate carts at the curb and to minimize the time that any trash is curbside.
- Garbage should be placed in resident-provided containers between 20-95 gallons in size or in plastic bags under 50 pounds.
- Please do not pull the containers down to the curb!
- Your containers should be placed at the top of your driveway, near the garage and visible from the curb if possible. Those with driveway gates need to place containers outside
closed gates to ensure collection. - Emptied containers will be returned to where the crew finds them.
- To insure collection, trash should not be placed in any container or cart that is labeled recycle.
- Clearly separate your trash from recycle, to avoid confusion between crews.
Curbside Yard/Green Waste Collection
Yard/Green waste should be bagged or placed in cans not exceeding 50 pounds. Branches must be placed in individual bundles measuring no more than 3’L x 3’W x 3’H, or tied and bundled and under 50 pounds. Limit 8 bundles/bags per service. Waste should be brought to the curb no earlier than the evening before service and no later than 7:00 a.m. on the service day.
Acceptable placement of branches: individual piles that crews can wrap their arms around to load easily.
Unacceptable placement of branches: piles are larger than allowed and not tied and bundled.
Curbside Heavy Trash & Bulk Waste
Texas Pride Disposal will collect two heavy trash/bulk items per service day. Items include furniture, appliances, carpeting (tied and bundled), fencing (nails removed, tied and bundled under 4′ in length), and other items not disposed of regularly. Items should be brought to the curb no earlier than the evening before service and no later than 7:00 a.m. on the service day.

Recycling Collection (Backdoor)
Texas Pride Disposal has provided each household with one recycling cart. If you do not have a cart, or have an old one that needs to be removed, contact Texas Pride.
- Collection every Friday. Please have recycle ready by 7:00 a.m. Specific collection hours and truck collection routes may vary slightly from time to time, due to weather, etc.
- Place all recyclables in the container provided by Texas Pride Disposal, old recycle bins, or containers clearly labeled RECYCLE.
- The lid on the TP recycle cart says to place it curbside. That does not apply to our district. We have contracted for BACKDOOR service and Texas Pride will collect recycle backdoor.
- Please do not pull the containers down to the curb!
- The containers should be placed at the top of your driveway, near the garage and clearly visible from the curb. Those with driveway gates need to place containers outside closed gates to ensure collection.
- Emptied containers will be returned to where the crew finds them.
- DO NOT BAG RECYCLABLES. Place recyclables loose in your recycle container.
- Do not place plastic bags in the recycle container.
- To insure collection, trash should not be placed in any container or cart that is labeled recycle.
- Please rinse cans, jars, jugs, and bottles before placing in your recycle container.
