Now that your Christmas shopping is complete,
oh, you haven't started. If not, you probably
know where you will be, when Santa comes down
the chimney. Some will be home
entertaining family, whereas others will be away
visiting family or friends. For
those traveling, we'll check the weather we're
headed, we'll worry about what to pack,
we'll remember our tickets and, of course, lock
the garage and house. Since we're gone why
worry about the weather in Houston. It
never freezes. We can't imagine returning
home after a wonderful trip to find water
greeting us at the door. Please, remember
your pipes before you leave, you never know.
How do you protect your inside pipes?
What about your outside ones? For

One thing you don't need to worry about
during the Christmas and New Year Holidays is
Household and Recycling Waste. Since
Christmas is on a Thursday there will be no
change in our schedule. Pickup may be
later in the day due to the amount of trash
throughout the subdivisions. Christmas
trees are green waste, therefore must be
curbside for pickup.
As for trees, once again we want to thank
Trees For Houston,
http://www.treesforhouston.org/, for their
generous donation of 150 tress to our Cypress
Forest Park. Also thanks to the scouts who
helped BelleTerra and Champions Hydro Lawn dig
the holes for the trees and the sprinklers.
The Cypress Forest Public Utility Directors
wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and
Happy Healthy Holidays from us and our
hardworking consultants and contractors.
